1st Annual Ware Triathlon...maybe the last annual!

tri·ath·lon

: an athletic contest that is a long-distance race consisting of three phases (as swimming, bicycling, and running)

The Ware Family had their 1st Annual Triathlon race (minus the long distance). This was the low down: 6 half laps at the Provo rec pool and 1 mile routes on Grandview hill for biking and running.

Team #1: Daniel - run, Cynthia - swim, Matthew - bike

Team #2: Jeremy - run, Britney - swim, Heidi - bike

Team #3: David - run, Birgitta - swim, Dad - bike

Team #4: Jon - bike, Mom - swim, Denise - run

Britney wins the round of swimming, with Birgitta a very close second! YEAH!

Matthew is the first one in...and Daniel runs.

Jon is second biker in...and Denise takes off.

Not too far behind is my Dad at third place....and Dave runs.

And Heidi comes in...and Jeremy runs faster!

Daniel first runner in.

Dave is second place.

Denise not too far behind Dave in third.

Jeremy comes in last without breaking a sweat!

Celesty wanted to run too...so off she goes.

Jeremy decides to join her. She ran half a block in big flip flops!

I love it when families do fun things, that sounds like so much fun. We loved the city triathalon the year I turned 60.

Your family does some fun things. Whoever thought that that would be a fun family activity (certainly not my family! Well...maybe some of us would).

That is so awesome! Great picture and great narration. That is so creative. What a fun idea, although I've been a stinker about wanting to exercise lately.

Very cool.
